A MIND diet is actually a combination of the Mediterranean and the DASH diet, which helps in lowering your blood pressure.

Foods which are generally considered healthy are:
- Different kinds of nuts
- Green and other vegetables (especially spinach)
- Beans and lentils
- Olive oil, etc.
Believe or not, even wine is considered healthy. But only in moderation! As you can see, this research mostly confirmed the things we knew already. Add more nuts and vegetables to your nutrition, and the risk of getting dementia will be significantly lower.

On the other hand, there are some types of foods you should avoid? These are mostly:R
- Red meat
- Any kind of fried food
- Fast food.
In other words, everything that most of us eat every day. Does it seem too difficult? It’s not impossible to adopt – it just requires some changes. By doing so, you drastically improve your chances of staying in top health well into your elderly years. This requires changing your eating habits and can be difficult at the beginning. However, do not give up, and always have in mind the final goal.
